Hoops for Hope is a not for profit organization currently providing after-school programs that brings basketball, HIV prevention and life skills to over 10,000 children a year in 150 schools and shelters around South Africa and Zimbabwe. Their programs train talented and deserving local coaches, build courts, run practices and tournaments, and feed children who live in communities hit hard by poverty, crime and HIV/AIDS. Hoops 4 Hope is doing much more than just playing sport; they
are empowering children to become productive adults, engage in
